Birkenstock

At Birkenstock, family heritage and tradition are important characteristics of this brand, not just for years or decades, but for a century of history ! Its footprint is deeply rooted in the art of making quality footwear for everyone, and has been since its birth in Germany in 1774.

We're sure you've heard of them. You know those ugly, but very comfortable sandals that you see everywhere as soon as the sun comes out, first the migratory birds come back... Then the Birkenstocks

They come in all shapes and colours, single, double or triple strap, wide or thin... In short, there is always one that suits you.

The secret to success ? A footbed made of natural rubber foam, a layer of latex and cork covered with natural jute and turned leather. This is how the « Birk » was able to promise its followers a feeling similar to stepping on sand.

In 1990, this so-called « ringarde » sandal was invited to the haute couture shows and became the « Birk » (for those who know it). It also won over stars such as Victoria Beckham and Gwyneth Paltrow. From then on, mentalities evolved : people threw away the painful stilettos and loved comfort.

Since then, they have been seen everywhere, in the metro, in parks, on terraces, these cork sandals are all the rage.

Quality. Comfort. Functionality. The birth of a Birkenstock legend... MADE IN GERMANY!
